Research Statement
My research interests are mostly about cross-disciplinary research across tropical cyclone modeling and research computing. Current research goals include spatial type and model system for three-dimensional structure of convective rainbands in tropical cyclones; flexible map reduce framework for large Doppler radar data processing using Hadoop and Hive. Through my research I’d like to contribute to collaboration between areas of computer science and environmental modeling.
Projects
Construct three-dimensional structure of hurricane rainbands and decribe their evolvements.
