At the 2017 annual meeting of the Southeastern Division of the AAG, Dr. Matyas and alumni Dr. Zick served on a panel to discuss the 2017 hurricane season. All panel members and the moderator were female faculty in the SEDAAG region who research hurricanes and/or their impacts.
